Established in the year 2016-2017, MCS is the result of the untiring efforts of its founders run by the Carmelite Sisters Of St.Teresa (CSST) congregation. It is inspired by the teachings of Jesus Christ, whose value were love, peace, brotherhood/sisterhood, equality, Joy and service. Carmelite Sisters Of St.Teresa (CSST) was founded on April 24, 1887 by Mother Teresa of St. Rose of Lima in the town of Ernalkulam in Kerala.
As a catholic and a Carmelite Institute, it tries to promote the holistic development of young people based on the integral vision the human person, of life and of the world. The management and the staff, faithful to the spirit of the Founderss Mother Teresa of St. Rose of Lima, work together for the common goal of forming young people into good citizens, worthy of God and worthy of our nation and the world.
Mount Carmel School, Thattagupe, Mariapura Bangaluru is owned and administered by the Carmelite Sisters of St. Teresa(CSST). To build an English medium school at Mariapura village was a dream of our sisters. This dream came true on 26th January 2017.
